On Friday, October 19 the Haas Orange County Chapter was named 2014 Chapter of the Year!
Dean Lyon personally awarded the Orange County chapter at the 2014 Volunteer Leadership Conference, recognizing us for:
- Leadership in OCMBA events. Unique joint events with other notable business schools. Founder Jerry Kornblau is a Haas alum.
- Establishing UC in the OC. These eventsunite UCI, UCLA and Berkeley for special events.
- Creation of Haaspitality Tours. Our tours feature local alumni and their workplaces. This event is now being done by chapters all over the world.
The Board celebrated this success this past Wednesday evening at our monthly board meeting for October.
